Amateur Radio operators have supplied BLM Ft. Ord Public Lands "back country" Emergency Communications for the mountain bike cyclists contestants April 17-18, 2010 and done this since 1996. This year is the 20th Anniversary. You will also enjoy beautiful scenery, especially as the direct result of the El Nino rains we are experiencing, and the cyclists are very appreciative as well as the event organizers!
